My relaxing Sunday drawing is finally finished! It took exactly two joyful hours to complete. For now, I’d probably title it Sunday Chill—but we’ll see.
The new charcoal brushes are amazing. I only used two for this piece, but they already feel surprisingly close to real charcoal. Can’t wait to explore more!

Anxiety is what we all experience on the certain level almost every day. Some of us would be more anxious then the others but we all know this eerie feeling that makes us trembling.
This is extremely personal work that took a long time to share with the world whilst facing the most difficult times of my life. It is created experiencing high levels of anxiety from the personal perspective opening the deepest parts of the soul and putting onto paper.
I have been keeping this little piece deep in a box hidden away in the same way that we keep our anxieties away from other people's eyes. Only learning to acknowledge and cherish this emotion is part of the process of growing into a stronger person no matter the challenges. Opening these little hidden boxes one by one may unfold a world that your own eyes haven't yet seen.

This has been one of those rare days with the opportunity to finally spend some time in the studio. And of course with my little furry twin sister always by my side. We both really share some important things- a drawing chair, a sink in the morning and even our birthdays.

Sometimes there are circumstances in life when you must be in places you would rather choose not to. And yet, there is beauty in colour, emotions and light everywhere you go. There is some pain- physical or emotional hidden from the eye in every person and when it all concentrates in one place, it is an extraordinary vibration. When I was observing the people passing by while having a coffee, it all made sense to just put it on "the paper". With an instant minds eye, it felt like every person has the dream, the hope that still keeps them here. They mix together in this quick study through the thread of light.

With passion I observe people, their emotions and personality that shines through. When sketching, I always think about their thoughts in present moment, their lives and what they are going through. Especially in such places as hospitals.
So I have been grateful for being able to observe, process and sketch these wonderful people even if it's only for few minutes while having a coffee. Wish there were more time to actually get to know their stories. I'm sure there would be so much more to tell then just a quick sketch.
