This weekend we have one of the oldest games on the fairground here at Brookside, specially for our celebration of World Fun Fair Month! 🎠
Can you hit the top on our High Strikers? It’s a game of skill and a test of strength. We have one for juniors as well as grown ups, and there’s no need to be shy, we are always on hand with top tips and pointers to help you do the best you can! 💪

THE LADYBIRDS ARE BACK! Making their return to Brookside this weekend are the iconic ‘Modern Products’ Ladybird’s. 🐞
Built in Scunthorpe England from the early 70’s onwards, these cute little bugs somehow managed to crawl their way into so many people’s treasured childhood memories. Often found in seaside resorts, shopping centres, amusement arcades and leisure parks, the Ladybirds were the highlight of so many children’s family holidays all around the UK! They were pioneering in design and one of the first rides to be constructed using fibreglass. After spending the summer with us on our travels they are now back at Brookside and will be open this weekend for our special celebration of World Fun Fair Month . Come along, join us for a ride and take a trip down memory lane.

Well that’s another visit to the annual Shrewsbury Steam Rally completed! We had some wild weather over the weekend but still, a great time was had by all! The Vintage Family Fun Fair returns to Brookside Garden Centre & Miniature Railway next weekend for an amazing celebration of Official World Fun Fair Month ! Join us on September 5th & 6th from 11am - 4pm.
We have lots of unique rides for kids of all ages, the super fast Jungle Speedway, traditional fairground games with prizes to be won, great music and tonnes of atmosphere! 🎠

It has been wonderful to be back at Rufford Abbey Country Park Nottinghamshire again over the weekend! Thanks to everyone who joined us and special thanks to the amazing team at rufford for making us so welcome as always. It’s been a bit of a warm one for building up today! But we are all ready to go and looking forward to entertaining you all at Rufford Abbey Country Park, Nottinghamshire this weekend. We have our Toyland Roundabout, SwingBoats, Family Hook a Duck and Sea On Land here this weekend, as well as Temple’s 100 year old Peacock ride which resides at Rufford all year round.
