Made On The Marsh - New Romney

Slightly later than planned postig here, Mason's Treats popped into the shop this week to drop in her amazing new items. This one is a bit special for me though, a blend especially developed for the shop, it is a smell that will remind you of a trip to made on the marsh, that sweet incense/scented candle/earthy smell that you smell as soon as you walk in. Our logo sits proudly on the packaging and Kel has done an amazing job putting this together at very short notice. Earthy blooms!! Perfection. This is also the smell of my house now as I have of course had to buy one of everything to make sure I am able to recommend them from my own experience. That is my excuse and I am sticking to it!!!

News
The shop will be open until October 24th. After this date it will cease to trade.
It will continue to run as normal until this time. Sadly this news has been broken by someone totally uninvolved in the shop on local groups who didn’t have the grace to wait for our official announcement.
You may have seen that a group are hoping to continue to build upon the shops legacy and I hope this is a success, but I (carrie) personally will be stepping down at that time to concentrate on my music and art without the immense amount of time, investment and work I have put into the shop to make it a success.
I am incredibly proud of what we have all achieved and I would like to thank Romney Marsh Community Hub Romney Marsh Community Hub for their generosity in allowing us to use the premises for this amazing group of artists!

Gail’s Designs is working in the shop today and has had a good restock, how beautiful are all of these fabrics!! I am in love with this bag, and the the little purse that comes with it too!! How am I to resist?? I will content myself with just modelling it for now… The fabric is beautifully velvety. Come on down and check it out.

Tomorrow, Carrie Bratton Carrie Bratton Art and Music is having a little restock. A few new pieces will be making their way to the shop over the next week or so, and in the run up to littlestone emergency services day!! (Yay) at the RNLI. Here is a small taster!

SEAGLASS SHOW AND TELL 🎨
THURSDAY 20th August
Katey's Seaglass Art will be working in the Made On The Marsh - New Romney shop Today. I will be bringing my personal seaglass collection with me, including my very special Seaham multis. Would you like to know more about the history and origins of seaglass and see a range of colours you can find worldwide? Come into the shop and ask me anything you like about seaglass and how I make my seaglass illustrations. Don't forget I also take special commissions from seaglass cards, decorations to framed pictures.

We have a new stamp!! All of our bags are on their way to being stamped with this fabulous big stamp made for us by Curious Crab who also have some of their work in the shop.
The stamps are very reasonably priced and they have a super quick turnaround time!! We love it
