🎪 New Romney Country Fayre Part Four: That’s a Wrap!

What a fantastic day it was! From our Character Hunt and treasure map game to pull-a-string and face painting, it was wonderful to see so many locals enjoying what NRAD had to offer.

A huge thank you to the amazing Face Painting with Jo Jo for creating so many beautiful designs throughout the day. 🎨✨

Thank you again to all our incredible volunteers, who gave up their time to help make the day such a success, and to our generous prize donors. We couldn’t do it without you!

New Romney Country Fayre Part Two: The Character Hunt

A big hit at the Country Fayre is always the NRAD Character Hunt, where families search high and low to find our larger-than-life characters before claiming their prize.

It was wonderful to meet so many familiar faces, chat with our regulars, and introduce plenty of new people to NRAD. Whether you completed the hunt, stopped for a photo or simply came over to say hello, thank you for making our day so special.

A huge thank you to our brilliant volunteers who spent the day in costume (in the heat!) bringing Jack, Jill, Silly Billy, the Giant, Dame Trott, and the Beanstalk to life. 🤩

🎪 NRAD at New Romney Country Fayre 2026… ☀️

Part one: Behind the scenes!

Before the crowds arrived, there was plenty happening behind the scenes to get everything ready for a fantastic day!

This year, Team NRAD had not one, but two pitches — a stall by the funfair and a second stall at The Romney Marsh Community Hub — giving us even more opportunities for fun.

🎪 Jo and Anne getting everything set up and ready to welcome visitors.
🎭 Georgia manning the stall to spread the word about upcoming shows next to Lizzie, Naomi and Isaac, ready for the Jack and the Beanstalk character hunt. 🌱
🧔 A special shout-out to Isaac, our youngest and smallest Character Hunt volunteer, who took on the literal biggest role of all as the Giant… complete with a fake beard! We think he absolutely nailed it. 👏
📸 And, of course, Sophie was busy behind the camera capturing it all while somehow helping everything else run smoothly too!

It takes a huge team effort to bring days like this together, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who gave up their Saturday to represent NRAD in the sunshine.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who visited our stalls at the New Romney Country Fayre! 💛

It was fantastic to see so many familiar and new faces enjoying our face painting, treasure hunt, pull-a-string, and supporting us by buying tickets for our upcoming shows.

Your support means so much to our volunteers and helps us continue bringing theatre to our local community. We hope you had a wonderful day, and we can’t wait to see you at our next production! 🎭✨
