📢 Calling all Woolly Wanderers! Let's get planning! 📢

​It's time for our next big social and planning meeting where we yarn-bomb ideas for the future!

​This meeting is crucial for shaping our 2026 and even 2027 plans! We'll be:

*​Debriefing the brilliant 2025 projects!
*​Checking in on who's knitting/crocheting for fun, and who's ready to lead the charge.
*​Brainstorming HUGE, fun, and perhaps slightly daft yarn-bombing ideas for the future that will make us all smile! 😄

​Just turn up! The only requirement is a love of yarn and community.

Psst... something's woven its way onto the Millennium Walkway! 🤫

A clutter of spiders has arrived, just in time for the New Mills Festival (Sept 12th-28th)!

Our special project for the Walkway's 25th anniversary features our fantastic foursome: Hunor, Web-ster, Charlotte, and Arachne! 🕸️ We couldn't be more proud of this display. Take a sneaky peek from the Walkway—we promise you won't be disappointed!

Happy 25th birthday to the Millennium Walkway!
​Until September 28th, you'll be able to see our creation from the walkway itself! We think it's the perfect way to honour such a fantastic piece of New Mills history!
​We're incredibly grateful for the help we've received from the knit and natter group at Providence URC, who provided beautiful knitted flowers and butterflies for the project. They also generously provided us with a free space to meet and store our supplies. Thank you for all your help and support!

We're giving a big shout-out to the fungi! 🍄🍄
The New Mills Woolly Wanderers have been busy, and our project for the Millennium Walkway's 25th anniversary is officially up as part of the New Mills Festival (Sept 12th-28th)!
Geraldine has created these absolutely adorable mushrooms for the display. You can see them from the Walkway. Did you know there are lots of different types of mushrooms you can spot in Torrs Riverside Park? Keep your eyes peeled! 👀

We're bringing a splash of sunshine to autumn! ☀️
The New Mills Woolly Wanderers have been busy creating a beautiful, bright display for the Millennium Walkway's 25th anniversary, as part of the New Mills Festival (Sept 12th-28th).
Our very own Sheena has crafted these lovely daffodils and butterflies. 🌼🦋 Just look at how vibrant and beautiful they are! You can catch a glimpse of our work from the Millennium Walkway itself.

Things are getting a bit fowl in the best way possible! 😉
The New Mills Woolly Wanderers have been stitching up a storm for the Millennium Walkway's 25th anniversary! As part of the New Mills Festival (Sept 12th-28th), a trio of lovely birds, made by the talented Susan, are now perched on the railing.
They've got the best seat in the house for the view of the River Goyt! Come on down and get a gander from the Walkway.

We've got something heron-dous-ly good for you, New Mills!
🌈 The New Mills Woolly Wanderers have been busy, and our vibrant creation for the New Mills Festival is now up!

Say hello to Horatio the Heron, a huge and colourful piece by Kate, marking 25 years of the Millennium Walkway. You can walk over to spot him from the walkway itself, between Sept 12th and 28th. He's definitely worth a gander!
