FROM THE ARCHIVES 🎺

Back in 2021, I was asked to perform at a Women’s Walking Football international between Wales and England.

I had the privilege of performing You’ll Never Walk Alone, followed by the English and Welsh national anthems.

Five years later, the trumpet is still taking me to some pretty special places, and in less than two weeks I’ll be stepping onto the stage for the world premiere of my own show, SHAKEN. NOT STIRRED – The Music of James Bond.

Funny where one instrument can take you. 🎺

🍸 WHY I CREATED SHAKEN. NOT STIRRED 🎺

For more than 30 years, the trumpet has been a huge part of my life.

I've played in theatres, bands, orchestras and shows, but for a long time I've wanted to create something of my own.

A show built around the instrument I love playing.

And that's where SHAKEN. NOT STIRRED came from.

I've always loved the music of James Bond. John Barry's incredible scores, the huge title songs and that unmistakable Bond sound are perfect for the trumpet.

So I decided to stop talking about creating the show and actually do it.

On Saturday 3rd October, I finally get to bring the full production to the stage for its world premiere.

22 pieces. Two acts. More than 60 years of Bond music.

I'm excited. I'm nervous. And I'm incredibly proud of what the show has become.

Most of all, I can't wait to perform it.
