It’s Bluebell time! We had lovely walks as kids…along country lanes, into the woods, always having to bend low to smell the Bluebells like an obsession. In those days we used to pick a bunch to take home for the dinner table. Our regular Sunday morning walk before our roast dinner, was at - what we called Cemetery Lane (Slippery Back), in Tenby.

'Living Under Slate'

The slate mining and quarrying town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, an island of industry in the middle of the Snowdonia National Park, is a place like no other. It's atmosphere is unique; grey on top of grey, you feel penned in by the towering, cloud adorned mountains and heaps of slate.

And boy does it rain ☔ ☔ ☔

8 hours of getting soaked to paint this 60cmx50cm.
