Let’s talk about content creation.

Three years ago I started a YouTube channel with very little clue what I was getting myself into.

Back then I’d hide in a quiet corner of a theme park to talk to a camera. These days I’ll happily stand in the middle of a busy area making Mario noises, screaming like a girl, and generally making a fool of myself. 😂

Over the last three years I’ve met some incredible people. Fellow creators, park staff, and so many viewers who have stopped to say hello. Sure, I’ve had the odd troll along the way, but that’s just part of putting yourself out there online.

I’ve travelled all over the UK, Europe and America sharing my adventures. I’ve ridden some amazing attractions, attended media events, filmed behind the scenes, and spent more hours than I’d like to admit sitting in my office making videos about roller coasters.

The thing that still blows my mind is when people ask for a photo. I’m just an ordinary bloke with a camera, terrible jokes, and a questionable sense of humour. To be invited to ride openings, park launches, and media events still feels surreal.

None of that happens without you. Every view, like, comment and subscription has helped make it possible, and I’m genuinely grateful for every bit of support.

So here’s to many more years of terrible dad jokes, nostril cams, Mario noises, and adventures in theme parks.

Thanks for coming along for the ride. ❤️

🎢 Quick Review: Bluey: Here Come The Grannies

Alton Towers’ newest family coaster is aimed at younger guests, but how does it compare to the park’s other family rides?

Would you ride this one or leave it to the kids? 👇

One of the more sedate rides at West Midlands Safari Park is their Jungle Jeeps ride. It's a slow moving tracked ride through safari themed props. One thing that's really good about this ride is that there are multiple animal related facts around the ride. Ideal to help the inquisitive minds of the younger guests.

There's only a few days left to nominate your favourite parks, rides (and content creator 😜) in the UK Theme Park Awards.

Note: This is NOT the voting stage yet, just nominations!

And on a personal note, I still can’t quite believe I’m in the Content Creator Hall of Fame. Thank you to everyone who’s supported the channel over the years ❤️

I know I've posted about this a few times (as have many others), but I'm genuinely over the moon to have an Gyro swing as my local park, Pleasure Beach Resort .

I’ve ridden a lot of swinging rides over the years, and recently I’ve made a point of riding quite a few to see how they compare. Honestly, there isn’t really a comparison. Some spin constantly, some barely generate any force, and some just feel a bit repetitive. This ride feels completely different. It’s graceful, forceful and incredibly well choreographed.

When you watch it off-ride, you’ll notice it only spins at key moments in the cycle rather than continuously. On-ride, you’re pinned into your seat as it powers through the swing, before lifting you gracefully into some of the best airtime moments I’ve ever experienced at the top of the arc.

To anyone who thinks “it’s just a swing”, or to those who are a little nervous about riding it, my advice is simple: give it one ride. I’ve seen very few people come off saying “never again”. Most step off absolutely buzzing, with huge smiles on their faces.

If you’ve ridden it, what did you think?

The log flume at West Midlands Safari Park known as Zambezi Water Splash is great way to cool down on a warm day. With two lift hills and two drops, the first is pretty gentle and the second will most likely cool you down!

Are you a fan of log flumes?

🚨 OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

After repeatedly saying in multiple vlogs “See you in a minute”, I’ve finally decided to lean into it.

That’s right. The merch nobody asked for is here.

☕ Mugs for when you leave the room and come back 60 seconds later.
👕 T-shirts so strangers know you’ll be returning shortly.
🧥 Hoodies for those colder days when you’ll still, inevitably, be seen in a minute.

The worrying thing is that I didn’t realise how often I said it until you lot pointed it out. Now I can’t unhear it. Every edit is basically:

“See you in a minute.”
cut
“See you in a minute.”
cut
“See you in a minute.”

At this point it’s less of a catchphrase and more of a medical condition.

See you in a minute. ⏰😂🎢

I finally made my first visit to Adventure Coast Southport … and honestly, I came away far more impressed than I expected.

Before visiting, I’d heard plenty of mixed opinions. Some people told me there wasn’t much to do, others said it was worth a look, so I went in with fairly low expectations.

What I found was a park packed with classic seaside charm, a surprisingly good Ghost Train, some decent thrill rides, a soaking log flume, and an atmosphere that reminded me why I fell in love with amusement parks in the first place.

Is Adventure Coast one of the UK’s most underrated parks? You’ll have to watch and decide for yourself!

Have you visited Adventure Coast Southport? What did you think?

🇬🇧 UK Theme Park Tour - June Update

At the start of the year I set myself a challenge: visit 30 theme parks and attractions across the UK.

Not just the big names everyone knows, but also some of the smaller parks, seaside attractions and family-run destinations that help make the UK theme park scene so unique.

May was a busy month, with visits to:

Paultons Park
West Midlands Safari Park
Adventure Coast Southport
Pleasure Beach Resort
Drayton Manor

That brings me to 12 parks visited out of 30 planned for 2026, with plenty more still to come.

Next up are Fantasy Island and Bottons Pleasure Beach as the tour heads to the Lincolnshire coast.

You can follow the full journey and watch all of the videos here:

Have you visited either Fantasy Island or Bottons Pleasure Beach? What should I make sure I don’t miss while I’m there?
