💥Finishing in style...

Last night saw Dave Williams compere a great evening of live comedy. Paul McCaffrey opened with his hilarious takes on getting older and cruises. Taking no prisoners whatsoever in the middle was Canadian comic Kate Barron , what a debut with us! Closing the show, and the season, in predictably brilliant fashion was club favourite Dan Nightingale.

Thanks to all the acts that played for us this past year, everyone that bought a ticket to our shows and the brilliant team at Nantwich Civic Hall 👏👏

Friday 5th June sees a fantastic line-up of comedians to close off the current season of The Very Best In Stand Up.

Dave Williams is joined by Paul McCaffrey (Live at the Apollo), Kate Barron (Comedy Central Live) and the always popular Dan Nightingale (Have A Word) to close the show and this season.

🗣️ After last night's show, someone said to us 'My face aches from laughing so much'... Job Done!

Our penultimate show of the season saw the excellent Dave Twentyman returning to do a great job of overseeing our evening. He introduced Stephen Grant, whose high energy style kicked off the evening very strongly. Peter Brush was in the middle section with a wonderful deadpan style, weaving some long wonderful set-ups to some fabulously unpredictable punchlines. Closing the show, we had the return of giddy west midlands comic Lindsey Santoro, closing the show in a fast paced and hilarious 25 minutes of comedy.

We're back next month - June 5th - for the final show of the season. It's going to be a banger to finish off a great season of live comedy.

🥳 Comedy's Coming Back!
After a short break to accommodate Nantwich Jazz Festival, Live comedy is returning to Nantwich Civic in a couple of weeks time - Friday 1st May.

Slight change to original line-up in that Scott Bennett has had to cancel but we've got the always popular Dave Twentyman stepping in to introduce Stephen Grant, Lindsey Santoro and long-time coming debut from Peter Brush. It's going to be another great night of comedy and tickets are on sale now at £12 from Nantwich Civic Hall or via the website - www.civiccomedy.co.uk.
