Minshull Amateur Dramatic Group, commonly known as the MAD Group, is based in Church Minshull, Ches Our membership is over 60 and is for all ages.

We are the Minshull Amateur Dramatic Group, commonly known as the MAD Group, based in Church Minshull, Cheshire. We aim to present two plays a year, usually in our village hall but we also use the church and other venues in the area. We grew out of the Bunbury Good Companions Am Dram Society in 2015 when that closed, but had been a joint centre group for two years before that. Please see our website for up to date information.

Our Autumn production of 'No, Mr Porter' is set for 27th/28th November, (please note change of date) and we have a full cast. However, if you are still interested the script can be expanded to add further characters.

Murder at the Call Centre, 14th Nov. 2025.
What an amazing night, with the audience laughing before the end of the first line and not stopping until the final result. We could not have wished for the performance to go any better and a full house too. Thank you for all your support! Another big 'Thank you' goes to the cast, David Barrett, Sharon Corke, Ellie Lewis, Charlotte Ritchie, Mimi Freedman, Tim Galley and John Headon, who also wrote the script and directed. Thanks also go to Mark Holdroyd, Pj Jones and Richard Cluley for lighting and sound and to Chris Ritchie who manned the bar.

“Murder at the Call Center”
A brand new play is being written as we speak and all the characters have been outlined. We have booked rehearsal and performance times with the Village Hall and we have “Get in” and “Get out” times allocated.
These are October 19th & 22nd, then November 5th & 9th. 'Get in' and Dress Rehearsal are on the 13th November, the show on the 14th and 'get out' on the 15th. All are in the village hall at 7.30pm in the evening except the 15th which is at 10am.
