Culbin Art Constantly curious and inspired by nature. I paint on slate, wood and anything that can be upcyclyed. Always looking for inspiration. Art has no rules!

Many of my paintings are commissions and are painted on reclaimed slate. All the slates are different shapes and sizes therefore it can be difficult to find two the same, making the painting even more unique. From initial enquiry to the finished product can take anything from 3 to 5 weeks so please get in touch early especially if it is for a special occasion. Postage costs vary - slates are heav

y and are mainly posted via Royal Mail, however I am happy for people to collect if you live locally. Payment is via PayPal or cheque and is expected upfront if it is a personalised slate. Many thanks for all the continued support and likes - this is a new venture so I am learning everyday.

Work in progress - back to slate! Thanks for the lovely messages. There has been a few requests for highland cows again so I will be back to painting the coo’s soon. I still need to inject a lot more colour onto this and sort out the wee Bothy but I thought I would share what I’m up to. Have a happy weekend, stay safe and stay at home. 🎨❤️

We are living in strange and worrying times. I haven’t painted in a long time as work and family commitments took over. I started, a few years ago, this when I lived in Canada but yesterday I decided to try and finish it... so it is still a work in progress. (My confidence in painting has plummeted but I am sure with more time I will get back into the rhythm of it!) I have lots of slates in the garden but I am really enjoying painting on wood. If anyone local has any old pieces of wood don’t bin it, I will happily recycle it. Stay safe and stay at home. ❤️ 🎨 Take this time to enjoy the little things ❤️
