Whether you play an instrument or just love listening to Celtic, Trad, and Folk tunes, come along for a great evening.

Very sad to hear about the death of Glen Hansard. A great singer songwriter who would have had so much more to give..

With broken hearts we announce the passing of Glen Hansard in the early hours of this morning.

We are still dealing with the shock of it all, so we kindly ask that the privacy of Glen’s family, colleagues and friends is respected at this difficult time.

Nairn Trad Sessions are currently on summer break (re-start September 16th). Some folks have been asking for a list of tunes we regularly play, so here are some of them. There are many more, of course, and it's all very relaxed and chilled out, suitable for all levels of ability. If you're at a loose end though, and want something to practice over the summer, then here are some suggestions....

A reminder that although we are on summer break, the next Havelock Trad session will be on July 31st, 8.30 pm at The Havelock All welcome - always great craic. Hope to see you there..

What a lovely session at Nairn Community & Arts Centre last night. Some great tunes and songs, and a real mix of instruments: fiddle, guitars, whistles, mandolins, slide guitar (!), bodhrans, button accordion, flutes, piano accordion, and harmonicas (disclaimer: there was a banjo too ). Always good for the soul. Same time (7.30pm) every Wednesday through May and June. All welcome..
