Hello, my names Marie. I’m fully qualified in Complimentary Therapies, Beauty Therapies & Lobe/Body piercings.
I have been Body piercing since 2013-2015 in my first Parlour room in North Custom, (Alness) then Conduit Arts (Inverness) from 2015-2018 my Business partner and I decide to go our own ways.
During my experience being a Body piercer I also done part-time Complimentary Therapies in Moray College from 2014-2016. When I finished Complimentary Therapies I decided I wanted to do Facial massage to be able to offer my Clients a full Body Massage with extras, so I went to UHI college and done Beauty Therapy in 2016-2017, but as I was doing the course, I was offered so much more and therefore took the courses on Waxing/Manicure/Pedicure/Eye Brow waxing/Tinting and Management Therapies. I never done much with the Brows or Tinting back then, but as I'm at the end of my Peri-menopause I feel it's needed with my own changes, so I have just recently done an up to date course on Brows and Tinting, with Lash lifting and Tinting.
Also during the above time, I also went through my Reiki 1 and 2 attunements between 2013 and 2015 with Beautiful Reiki Masters. These were very mind blowing and amazing experiences to work with, and Reiki energy is used with every client I work with in Body piercing, Beauty and Complimentary Therapies.
In 2023 I rented a room from a local hair dresser in Inverness and that's where "The Piercer MAM" was born. I was there until the end of 2024, but I decided to close the Business as Burnout and peri-menopause decided to happen and it affected my Mentality and Body in a way I never quite felt before, that it had affected an old trauma and head injury I had through being hit by a trailer truck in 2013.
My Head injury and trauma which wasn't noticed until 2019, and this had affected my experience with the Burnout and peri-menopause in a very deep Psychological, Physical and Physiological way. But with time off from all work, I started working on my Mind, Body and Soul. This meant working and listening to my Body and just go with the motions of my new experience. So, I decided to ask for Therapy and Physio, and I'm so glad I did because I absolutely love Therapy, it's a beautiful way to stay focused and whole, I highly recommend any kind of Therapy.
With the time off I have had the chance to re-learn, read, do courses and plan my future and this is where "MAM's Beyoutotheful Parlour" was created.
With all this going on, I met my beautiful Husband to be and he has lovingly built me my very own Therapy Parlour (log cabin) in my back garden at my home in Munlochy, in which I'm very excited about opening and working in, as this has been a dream of mine since I left Conduit Arts in 2018.
I'm currently just building my new page and Parlour, and with this I'm putting all of what I've learnt and experienced under one beyoutotheful roof and I hope you'll join me for some tranquil Therapy treatments that will chase the Stress away and rejuvenate the Body.
