So after a lot of time and thought and much deliberation, I am setting out on a new adventure. Whilst The Foot of The Tree has been great. It no longer reflects the place I am in or the journey I have been on the last two years. It will be a joint venture with my gorgeous husband that explores spirituality, and healing with nature. Last year, after many things exploded in our personal lives, we moved our family up north to Caithness. The move has been wonderful yet challenging. Here, we are now embarking on the new journey . My etsy will be updated shortly soon to all my loyal customers. Thank you to everyone for their support on this journey.

A new year, full of changes, opportunities, and lessons. May 2024 be the new dawn after the hardest, and yet most beautiful year for me yet. I am so thankful for my beautiful family, who really got me through what was a year of change, pain, and blessings. However, now I am stepping into the flames of self-love. I am determined to heal and regain my strength . When we are lost, we must offer a part of our journey to the goddess divine. In accepting we are lost, we can find a new star to gaze upon in the night. In making sacred offerings, we offer a part of ourselves that was dear but no longer serving our higher purpose. For me, this was a relationship with my mother. When we create a sacrifice, we make room for new experiences that serve our highest good. Spiritual awakening is never easy. It can be painful and challenging, but in this pain, we can awaken, and a new dawn can light our lives. For me that is my gorgeous husband .michael and our beautiful family. I have long been absent due to ill health, moving house, and supporting my family. But keep an eye open as The Foot of The Tree is coming back this year. For 2024 is the year of awakening. May all those who have stayed even when I was absent have a blessed year and many great experiences. Thank you for your support it really meant the world.

In amongst all the recent chaos I can happily say I have now completed your cardigan. I am still shocked you are now 5 months and that it actually fits you. Two minutes ago you were so tiny and fragile 😊

Art to me isn’t just about what is technically good. It’s about being made to feel something.

For a while now my only pursuit has been my beautiful kids. Making sure they are ok, trying to alleviate any past painful experiences. Or to simply comfort them when they get disappointed.

Sometimes to achieve what we want for our family we let others needs come first. That has been my life for a very very long time.

Do I regret it? No, never. My family is simply my whole world. Nothing means more to me. However, after seeing all the positive change this year has brought them. They are now well on their way to future success. And so now I enter a phase where now I can put more nurture into me and my passion.

Thank you so much for all the wonderful customers I have had this year who have helped sustain and grow my Etsy business. From Australia to Norway you all have meant the world. Because of you I had the opportunity to put my kids first. To help them get over the after effects of some horrific bullying.

Because of you I now get to see my kids rejoin school after being homeschooled. Because of you I was able to give my kids the breathing space they needed to heal. Because of you all, I get to support my kids on their ASD journey in the way I want to.

Because of you all I get to see my kids be happier than ever and be able to make some fantastic friends and excel at school for the first time ever.

No one ever really sees how much their purchases mean to small business owners. Well to this one, it means the world.

When I was younger I used to underestimate the power of the symbols we surround ourselves with . The importance of the stories we tell and have grown up with. And the healing power of the natural world.

For centuries after the darkness of night human kind looked to the sun. to the dawning light, and the resurrection of eternal light. For in the dark the light will always exist. As in the light the dark endures.

Escape to the highlands…to the land of the free. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Apologies to all my lovely supporters for being missing these past few weeks. Thank you to all of you who have stayed with me. Im so grateful for those who have supported me with lots of orders these past few months.

Between homeschooling my gorgeous kiddies and multiple ups and downs with health and work commitments…I decided I had to take a break. Especially from social media. I had to spend more time just focusing on my family, my health, and soul journey.

Well after numerous trips to the wild, and lots of resting and self care with my fabulous husband and family. I am rejuvenated and ready to get back.

Keep posted for this week as I have quite a few new things that will be posted and added to my Etsy. I will also be doing runic readings again on my Etsy and here so stay tuned.

I also have been developing new branches in getting the foot of the tree to be more eco friendly, sustainable and charitable. This has always been important to me, and even more so with all of the trials going on in the world just now.

To anyone who is going through a hectic or challenging time. Remember it’s ok to check out, and focus on what you need to. It’s ok to take time off, to sort out your health. Keep being you, and keep being fabulous.

Happy valentines to all my lovely customers, supporters and friends. Nobody ever has it all together. We just have to love one another and our selves, and know that it will all be alright. We see what people want us to see, but we rarely see the bits they don’t.

Stay sparkly, stay connected and look after yourself, family and each other. Tomorrow is a day of love. It can take all forms. But most importantly love yourself and the journey you are on. As despite any struggles you may personally have, you are still here ❤️

Into the wild. We can have good days and bad. Both are beautiful as the journey is where the magic is. We can focus so much on the destination, we forget to appreciate how we got there.

Being a parent is hard sometimes…homeschooling is hard sometimes. But never give up. Give yourself a break…tell yourself “you got this”. Appreciate the ups and downs…one day you will blink and these days will be gone! ❤️
