Come along to Much Hadham on Sunday 23 June as it’s Open Gardens day around the village. The Village Hall will be serving tea and cake, and will also be host to an Artisan Fair showcasing the work of a number of local artists and craftspeople.
There will be drawings and prints, hand made textile art and scarves, glassware and jewellery all available to buy directly from the artists.
We will be there between 11am and 4pm so please come down and support your local artists and makers.

Meet local artist and tutor Julie Arnall
Julie Arnall studied MA Fine Art: Print at Wimbledon College of Art, has taught at the University of the Arts London and currently teaches adult art classes in East Herts and Essex.
Julie will be selling handmade prints, drawings, giclee prints and greetings cards.

Using a traditional dip pen and Indian ink, Nicky Nunn has developed a distinctive visual style in his contemporary drawings of dogs. Lines flow freely across the paper capturing the characteristics and expressions that will be immediately familiar to animal owners lovers.

Commissions are available, please contact Nicky if you are interested.

Laura Bracey-Curry works with mark-making, mainly across drawing, printmaking and painting. Her work documents everyday scenes and gradual changes through the lens of landscape. Using mark-making, colour and tone to capture these familiar spaces. Observed gradually and eventually drawn. These drawings then become postcards, prints, books or simply remain as drawings. Sue Nicholls is a Fine Art Textile Artist and Printmaker and lives in Buntingford, East Herts. The rural landscape around her home and the plants in her garden are the main inspiration for her work. Come and meet Sue at the fair.
