Oil On Canvas - Damaged.
This piece is now no longer available as it is no longer a piece of art on canvas, it is a very personal piece about a destructive soul in a world in which she didn’t belong. The canvas now represents that, a moment in history, a past, and yet will always hold feeling and depth. It portrays a woman’s battle with her own body and sense of self, finding herself in a container she had never belonged and in a damaged world which she has never been part of. A pure, loving and kind heart, too sensitive, soulful and caring for this world, a genderless creature broken by the evil and stupidity of society. A body sexualised and dehumanised for the pleasure of others…..On the brink of destruction…..Yet from such destruction a new chapter emerged, out of the darkness, from the very depths of hell, rises another story and a journey of inner strength, courage and grit to fight on, to overcome fear, to battle another day, and to conquer all obstacles in the way. From the ashes we shall rise. ###
