Cartoon & Animation Club

AVAILABLE TIMES
SUNDAY 11.30-12.30 or
WEDNESDAY 6-7pm

Students will be carrying on with their projects world building, developing characters and building 3D sets. We will be having a look at adding digital animation on top of real life sets this term. Newer students are developing their stop motion animation skills and story writing alongside building on drawing and inking skills. Our ultimate goal this year is to submit a selection of student reels for consideration in the Manchester Animation Festival 2026! 🥳🤩

We are excited to be focusing on different printing methods including cyanotype this term, how to build with collage and learning about the amazing work of Peter Blake. We will also be having lots of fun in the build up to the Chinese New Year and Easter festivals. As always we will be sneaking some clay work and painting in there too! We can't wait to see everyone's amazing work! 🥳😍
