🌺 Something very special is taking shape…
We are incredibly privileged and proud to be part of a very special community project, working in partnership with and the .
Members of and , together with wonderful volunteer crafters from across the region, are creating hundreds of handmade poppies which will come together to form a beautiful cascade of poppies in Column Field, opposite War Memorial.
Each poppy is being individually crafted and will become part of a striking tribute to those who have served our country and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
And, looking at just some of the poppies featured in this video, we think you’ll agree that they are looking absolutely spectacular. ❤️
Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing much more about the project, the people behind it and our progress towards our poppy-making target.
We’ll also be announcing the date for the installation in the coming weeks, so keep watching this space.
