BURN BABY, BURN, DISCO INFELTO

Just over a week to go until our third Over 30s Daytime Disco, Saturday 17th, 3-7pm. If you haven’t had enough dancing you could be back in time to watch most of Strictly.

Come and boogie on down to your favourites from the 60s/70s/80s and – perhaps even the 90s. DJ Campo will be taking requests for your special dance tunes.

Feel free to bring your own snacks. Filled rolls and crisps will be on sale to bridge the energy gap so that you can carry on throwing those shapes.

We run a bar, so PLEASE, don’t bring your own drinks.
Want to have a few? There are buses from almost outside the Hall:
to Alnwick at 15 minutes to 7 and 8
to Morpeth at 10 minutes to 7 and 8

Many thanks for everyone who supported the Felton Village Hall Summer Festival, whether by coming along, performing, helping out or publicising the events. We reckon it was a success. Lots of visitors to the Art Exhibition. More than 18 hours of different types of music to listen to, spread over 15 concerts, with 89 performers playing about 120 instruments and a total audience of 352. Two participative music events, which attracted 50 people in all, and a wonderful story telling session.

Thanks too for comments already made on this site. Any feedback would be very welcome.

It's Movie Night 🎬📽

Hope to see you tonight to round off our Centenary celebrations with some hundred-year-old nostalgia, as we screen the first 'talkie'.

The Felton Village Hall Centenary Festival is nearing its end. Friday is the the last day that the Art Exhibition is open, so do get along if you haven't been able to so far.

There's just one music event on Saturday 29th, and it's for participants only - no audience. From 2pm to 4.30 (not a 10am start as originally advertised) we're having an informal share-a-tune and play together party.

In the evening the film club is showing "The Jazz Singer" the first talkie. 7.30pm. £5, bar. Travel back in time with a black and white experience.

And then that's it! Many, many thanks to all who have supported the Festival - it's been a wonderful time.
