Another great sketching day was had - in Amble this time. Good lunch at Radcliffe’s Cafe/Bistro.

This was our last session for the summer break and we’ve had some lovely venues and really decent weather:
Warkworth
Rothbury
Wallington Hall
North Shields fish quay
Alnwick
Amble

Thank you to everyone who took part. It’s fun, and a great social get together. We may have an ad hoc sketching session in Morpeth in the next couple of weeks. Watch this space!

We’re back at Whalton next Tuesday for our first session of the new year. See you there.

What a brilliant sketching day we had in Alnwick. Weather was good and Alnwick was busy.

Quite a few of us travelled by bus - it was like an old folks’ bus trip! 🤣

We had coffee to start, then off out and about sketching various views.

Lunch at the Alno Lounge in Bondgate was great and staff were very helpful and friendly. Some great artwork was produced.

Another great day out summer sketching. We were in Rothbury and included a visit to The Coquetdale Art Gallery where many of the group have paintings exhibited and for sale. Didn't get a lot of phots of our sketching....but we all enjoyed a pleasant wander around the town, a nice lunch and a bit of shopping too! Good company and good times.You can post a photo of your work here....and hope to see you next week at Wallington Hall. Some lovely work on the day ....
