And there's more.

Mos Eisley Misfits are expected to land at the White Rose Shopping Centre this Sunday.

The empire and the republic will continue their battle for control of the stars, and this will be taking place in the White Rose Shopping Centre Leeds.

This weekend we are back inside at the White Rose Shopping Centre near the Leeds United shop. You don't need to spend millions to shop with us or the many traders that make handmade in Yorkshire items that will be on sale at the Yorkshire Market this Saturday and Sunday.

And there is no loan to buy option either. You can tell what I've been keeping a close eye on yesterday. MOT.

So once I've taken mum shopping today, she's 91 you know, I'll be back in the workshop creating for this weekend.

Welcome to the new month and we'll see thee at the White Rose Shopping Centre.

Yes I know the banners are up on the roundabout all the time, but it is definitely this weekend, always the first full weekend of the month. Two more to do September and October. Nothing in November as White Rose start their Christmas set up. But we will be back in December, upstairs and outside in The Village area for five days up till Santa comes.

Back in June a gentleman ordered a product from me and paid on the day at the White Rose Shopping Centre.

Now due to escalator issues we've been outside for these last two months, whilst work was carried out inside, but we have been an ever present on the first full weekend of the month. Plus another day towards the back of the month.

The item has been stored ready for collection on each of the six or seven days we have been at the White Rose Shopping Centre, however it hasn't been collected. I have made the event organiser aware of the situation, and as we are back on the first full weekend in September, it will be available for collection that weekend.

Now I know that someone has contacted another trader, who sometimes has a stall near mine, so this may be the gentleman in question. I have no contact details for him other than his first name, so I have been unable to resolve this issue.

Hopefully he may show up next weekend and collect the item in question. If not I'll be honest I can't keep holding it on his behalf.

For obvious reasons I'm not posting the gentlemans name or the item he has paid for. But if anyone knows of someone waiting for their purchase, please call in to the White Rose Shopping Centre next weekend or drop me a line on here.

What are you guys doing this weekend?

Well on Saturday myself and Rosie Bobbins Crafts will be at Howden Shire Hall.

A little different for me as I will be marketing clearance stock. So it will be coasters, slate and Jesmonite. Jesmonite pots and small containers. Yorkshire made resin used for plaques on a natural wood base for inside and outside hanging and on MDF for inside only. There may be other creations as well, depends on space available.

So what am I doing. Most of these items have been sold over the last few years for prices up to around £15. Now ......

£5 per individual item, and there's more. Buy one coaster for £5 select a second for free. Now as a Yorkshire man this hurts to go that low in price, but I'm doing it. So this Saturday get yersen down to Howden Shire Hall for proper Yorkshire bargains. Just like the middle aisle at Aldi/Lidl once it's gone it's gone.

Then it's back to normality as we both return on Bank Holiday Monday to Selby Abbey. Here you will find my creations in 3D, Sublimation mugs, coasters and water bottles. And Rosie Bobbins Crafts will have her excellent hand made crochet and knitwear at both events. And remember if you don't see something you like or the right size, as Jenny creates to order, just ask, she doesn't bite. Except on Bank Holiday Mondays. 😆

Well what a day at the Yorkshire Market with R.S.H Artisan Markets at the White Rose Shopping Centre.

Thank you to all who came and shopped with the traders today, many of whom will be back on Sunday. We will be having the day off due to old age and poverty. 🤣🤣

But the story of today was a little heart warmer. A couple of young ladies and a grandson told us a little story, we were talking football, well enjoying the fact that Hull had beaten Man U. 🎉

If anyone knows the Barnsley FC logo, there are two working lads standing either side of the shield. The one to the left is a glass blower, and in the original photo that became the football badge, the gentleman in question was one of the ladies Dad. How nice is that? Well the challenge is now on to find a copy of that original photo. History made, and a fabulous story to tell the kids and grandkids.

So if anybody knows the whereabouts of that photo or a copy of it. Then hopefully we can get that to the people above as they are looking to come to the Bramham Christmas Market in November.

Maybe Barnsley Football Club has that photo stored in their history archive. Wouldn't that be a fantastic find for the family and their family link to their team. I might be Leeds United through and through, but I'm a Yorkshire lad and this story was fit to warm the cockles of any Yorkshire heart.
