Lovely afternoon spent in the lull of doing this gorgeous festive scene for a local Morecambe family. Job 1 of 2 of the day and thankfully the only one done outside. I'm still feeling the chill that only a ribena winter spice will fix.

Just waiting for the cake topper to arrive from amazon, but here's Grace's "Wednesday" cake... a show which she's never watched nor will she be allowed to watch for some years, but nonetheless is Wednesday mad.
Never ever making a black cake again. Ever. Even if it does look pretty.

Since I decorated Charlie's room Grace has been begging me to do her room.
So despite the fact mine and Richards own bedroom is the most vanilla monstrosity that's never been decorated since the last owners made it a magnolia minge...
Despite the fact the paints peeling off in our kitchen...
And despite the fact Grace only had her room freshly done about 2 years ago...
Here's her leopard print palace.
And yes, I've gone a bit mad with the leopard print this week but I did the drawers for Grace's room and then fixated that I wanted Grace's whole room to match.
Also, I came to learn that the perks of being a grown up is having your own home which you can turn into your canvas. I blooming love it!

Bit of a change for today. Mum called in a favour and I can never resist a request from ar' Marie, so I'm face painting for the at Chorley Town Hall. Seeing some of the art work these lovely women have done for thier Lancashire Federation show is nothing short of inspirational. I think I need to "up" my game!

Rainy Fridays made a bit brighter with some daffodil down at on Ullswater Road, Lancaster.
Cindy also wanted this gorgeous welcome sentiment put above the door.
1.5 hours work, which goes to show it doesn't take long to transform a space.

It's been a loooooooong time since I've had chance to do any work, but it was my absolute pleasure to update toasts chalkboards with their new "comfort food" menu.
It was absolute torture writing it up and wanting to eat every item, so I was so chuffed when Dominick offered a taster of his tiramisu 🤗😋🥰
If you've not had chance to visit them yet, they're on Moor Lane, Lancaster, next to the Gregson Centre and do amazing restaurant quality food but for the comfort of your own home.
