Collaborative Exhibition
Join myself and as we sew 1134 fabric leaves to honour each person killed in the Rana Plaza collapse.
On the 24th April 2013, a factory in Bangladesh, making clothes for brands such as Zara, Matalan, Primark and Mango, collapsed killing 1134 people. The demand for low-cost clothing, cheap labour and many a blind eye turned as health and safety conditions worsened meant 1134 lives were lost that day. 1134 innocent people dead.
This Fashion Revolution Week, help us to honour the dead by sewing fabric leaves dedicated to all those who lost their lives. Each leaf will be displayed as part of a collaborative exhibition throughout Fashion Revolution Week events at between the 24th and 26th of April. Bring them along to the event, make them on the day at our sewing station or DM me for collection / post.
