🎉 KAY FEST 2026 🎉
We are absolutely delighted to announce that this year’s event raised a whopping £12,096.64!
we still have a couple more funds to come through, so we’ll update everyone once the final figure is confirmed.
First of all, we want to say a huge thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, performers, stall holders, and everyone who attended and helped make the day such a success. Your support means everything to us.
A very special thank you goes to Tom Jones for kindly allowing us to use his land this made the festival a lot safer for our goers and was a huge convenience to us. The Lion Caerhowel for having the venue available to us, this was a massive bonus and played a huge part in making the event possible. We would also like to say a thank you to Maurice Jones for kindly allowing us to use his land for parking. Your support was greatly appreciated and helped the day run smoothly.
As with many events, the costs involved in running KAY FEST were significantly higher this year. After covering all event expenditures, the final amount being donated to our chosen charities will be £4,200.
We understand this may be lower than some people expected, but we’d like to be completely transparent. KAY FEST is run entirely for charity, and the organisers do not make any profit from the event. Every volunteer and every person involved gives their time and effort to make the day happen for a good cause.
We’re already working hard behind the scenes to reduce costs and increase fundraising opportunities so that even more money can go directly to our charities next year.
