While we're still enjoying the Monty Lit Fest high, it's a good time to remind everyone that it's Independent Bookshop Week.

While we enjoy the good offices of the Bookshop, Montgomery and Booka Bookshop at the Lit Fest, Montgomeryshire itself does pretty well for indy bookshops.

As well as Barry Lord and Richard Eaves (pictured), we have.The Great Oak Bookshop in Llanidloes; Hardy's Bookstore in Welshpool; and Literary Cat Books, , and in Machynlleth.

We've finally surfaced after the most memorable, exhilarating weekend. A huge thank you to our guest authors and interviewers, audiences, volunteers and sponsors - and the town of Montgomery Wales that did us so proud.
