🎉✨ THANK YOU ✨🎉

On behalf of Montgomery Carnival Committee, we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part in the return of Montgomery Carnival on Saturday.

From the amazing floats and fancy dress costumes, to the people who lined the streets and cheered along the route.

How magical was it seeing our Carnival Queen and her attendants arrive in a horse-drawn carriage? 🐴👑

A few thank you’s to mention -

Montgomery Fire Station for leading the procession and Broseley Beats Samba Band for getting everyone into the carnival spirit.

KC Riding School. Supporting Kc horse rescue for transporting our Carnival Queen and her attendants in their beautiful horse-drawn carriage and to to the team of marshalls who volunteered their time to help the procession run safely through the town.

Also, thank you to The Flower House and Jan Phillips for the beautiful flowers for the carnival queen and the show presidents.

What a day to remember — full of music, colour, laughter, and community spirit. You all helped make this event a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without you and our amazing community

🎉 It’s carnival day! 🎉

We are looking forward to seeing all the decorated floats and wonderful costumes.

Please ensure that the floats assemble on Arthur Street by 11:30 and the walking fancy dress classes are in the coloured sections on Broad street by 11:45 ready for judging.

The procession will start to leave Broad street at 12:15.
