🎉WOW what a carnival - THANK YOU!🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who entered a float and took part in the fancy dress classes — your creativity, effort and enthusiasm really brought the carnival to life and without you there wouldn’t be a carnival!

A very special thank you to our Carnival Queen, Poppy, her attendants Brianna and Maddy and our retiring Carnival Queen, Rhiannon, for representing us so wonderfully. We hope you all had a wonderful day.

Beautiful flowers as always from The Flower Shop and Jan Phillips - thank you!

To everyone who lined the streets, cheering, clapping and supporting all of our carnival entries.
The atmosphere was incredible, and your support made the day even more memorable!

A massive thank you to the amazing samba band, Small Town Samba, for bringing the carnival spirit and creating such a fantastic carnival atmosphere. You certainly got everyone in the mood to celebrate!

Thank you to Montgomery Fire Service for leading us safely to the show field.

And finally, a huge thank you to all of our volunteers who gave up their time to help keep everyone safe and make sure the carnival ran smoothly. We really couldn’t do it without you!

Thank you to each and every person who played a part — whether you were taking part, volunteering, cheering from the sidelines or simply enjoying the celebrations.

Thank you to everyone who has shared your photographs of the carnival we are very grateful!

Woohoo - it’s carnival show day!!

Just a few reminders -

⭐️Please can all floats assemble on Arthur’s Street (near to Bunners) by 11:00am and all fancy dress classes assemble on Broad Street (near Castle Kitchen) by 11:15am.

⭐️All vehicle floats must have at least two walking stewards.

⭐️Please ensure that you all have your wristbands on, ready to enter the show field (children under 5 are exempt from needing a wristband).

⭐️We will be leaving Broad Street at 11:45am to proceed to the show field.

⭐️Once we have arrived at the show field please enter the show ring ready for judging.

⭐️Most important - have lots of fun!

The day we’ve all been waiting for is finally here! We can’t wait to see the fabulous carnival float, amazing costumes and all the wonderful arts, crafts and show exhibitions that everyone has been working so hard on. 🌟🎨🏆

It’s going to be a fantastic day filled with fun, laughter, family and community spirit — there really is something for everyone! ❤️

🎪🌟 MONTGOMERY CARNIVAL – A LOOK BACK! 🌟🎪

With this year’s carnival just around the corner, we thought we’d take a little trip down memory lane and share some photos from last year’s fantastic Montgomery Carnival! ❤️📸

What a wonderful day it was! From the amazing floats and fancy dress to the music, laughter, smiles and incredible community spirit, it really was a day to remember. 🎉🥳

Now the big question is… what will this year bring?! 👀🎪✨

We’re so excited to see all the wonderful floats, costumes, characters and of course our Carnival Queen and attendants! 👑🌸

🎉 Montgomery Carnival – Entries Open! 🎉

Planning to join us for this year’s carnival at Montgomery Show? Make sure you pick up a Montgomery Show Schedule from Bunners or SPAR, where you’ll find details of all the carnival classes, along with the Carnival Entry Form.

📝 Entry forms must be completed for ALL fancy dress classes and floats and received by no later than Saturday 8th August.

You can return your completed entry form in any of the following ways:

▪️ By post – send your completed form to the address shown on the entry form.

▪️ By email – send a copy of your completed form to:

▪️ By Facebook Messenger – send a copy of your completed entry form directly to us through our page.
