Molesey Musical Theatre This is the official public page for Molesey Musical Theatre, an amateur Musical Theatre Group based in Molesey, Surrey.

We aim to stage two productions a year at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames. MMT has been around for five decades, bringing musical theatre to life locally. MMT typically stages two productions annually at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames, offering audiences a variety of shows that have included classics like "Me and My Girl," "Jekyll and Hyde," and a family-friendly pantomime each year.

Get ready for magic, mayhem, laughter and plenty of panto fun as we bring this fabulous story to life! Expect some of your favourite classic panto characters, including Cinders, the Prince and Mother Goosebottom! 🪿

We’re incredibly excited to announce that Molesey Musical Theatre is looking ahead to our May 2027 production of GUYS AND DOLLS — and we’re looking for the brilliant people who can help bring this iconic show to life!

We’re currently looking for:

🎬 DIRECTOR
Do you have the vision, creativity and leadership to bring Guys and Dolls to life on stage?

🎶 MUSICAL DIRECTOR
Can you lead and inspire our cast and band with your musical expertise?

💃 CHOREOGRAPHER
Do you have the flair and imagination to create dynamic, exciting and show-stopping choreography?

Whether you’re an experienced creative looking for your next challenge, or someone ready to take on an exciting new opportunity, we’d love to hear from you!

We’ve nearly completed our fabulous cast for Once Upon a Time in Pantoland, but there’s still one little bit of magic missing… our Fairy Grandmother!

This is a small but fun and humorous role, perfect for someone who fancies getting involved in the panto without taking on a huge part. We’re looking for someone who can bring plenty of personality, comedy and a little fairy magic to the stage! ✨

Auditions will be held on 1st September at 8pm at Vine Hall, East Molesey.
