This is the official public page for Molesey Musical Theatre, an amateur Musical Theatre Group based in Molesey, Surrey.

We aim to stage two productions a year at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames. MMT has been around for five decades, bringing musical theatre to life locally. MMT typically stages two productions annually at the Cecil Hepworth Playhouse in Walton-on-Thames, offering audiences a variety of shows that have included classics like "Me and My Girl," "Jekyll and Hyde," and a family-friendly pantomime each year.

💙 Happy Father’s Day from all of us at MMT!

Today we celebrate all the amazing dads, grandads, step-dads, father figures and carers who support, encourage and inspire us every day.

From helping build sets and moving scenery, to running lines, giving lifts to rehearsals and cheering from the audience — we couldn’t do what we do without you. 🎭

Thank you for everything you do both on and off the stage.

What a fantastic day Molesey Musical Theatre and Molesey Dancing Academy had at Molesey Carnival! ☀️🎭💃

The sun was shining, the crowds were out, and it was wonderful to spend the day meeting so many lovely people from our local community. We were delighted to be working in partnership with MDA once again, sharing our love of performing arts and spreading the word about our upcoming pantomime, Once Upon a Time in Pantoland.

Our stall was buzzing throughout the day, with plenty of chats, laughter, raffle tickets, and children’s novelties keeping everyone entertained. We loved hearing from familiar faces, meeting new supporters, and talking to people interested in getting involved both on stage and behind the scenes.

A huge congratulations to Joe, the lucky winner of MMT’s raffle! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our stall, entered the raffle, bought novelties, asked questions, or simply came over for a chat. Most importantly, thank you to all of our volunteers and members who gave up their time to help make the day such a success.

✨What an incredible honour for MMT! ✨

We absolutely loved bringing Aladdin to the stage alongside Molesey Dance Academy last year, and we were thrilled to be award led a NODA Accolade of Excellence!

On Sunday, members of both MMT and MDA attended the awards ceremony to celebrate this fantastic achievement together.

NODA celebrates, supports and connects theatre groups across the UK, with representatives attending a large number of productions every year, making this recognition even more special. This marks the first time in a number of years that MMT has received this award, and we couldn’t be prouder.

A huge congratulations and thank you goes to every performer, creative, volunteer and supporter from both MMT and MDA who helped make Aladdin such a magical production. This achievement belongs to all of you. 🤍

We can’t wait to team up and collaborate with MDA once again for Once Upon a Time in Pantoland in December 2026 — and trust us, you won’t want to miss it! 🎭✨
