Can You Share A Lift?? 🚗🚨⚠️

Due to the weather this year some of our usual Parking Fields for the Show are Out of Action ⚠️

Our volunteers have been working more like 5-9 on solutions over the last few weeks, but unfortunately this still leaves us with fewer parking spaces than in previous years 🚗

ARE YOU ABLE TO...

🚗 Carpool? 🚗
👋 Give someone a lift? 👋
🚕 Get dropped off? 🚕
🚴Cycle? 🚴
🚶🏼‍♀️Walk?🚶
🪂 Parachute in? (taking inspiration from our brave teddies who will be leaping from the Church Tower) 🧸⛪🪂

Any of these would be immensely helpful 🙏 saving our small village road network from becoming congested and saving you queuing time, as well as fuel!

Your Show Needs You! 🫵

Parking will be Signposted as you enter the village and our dedicated volunteers will be on hand to direct you 🅿️

Thank you 🙏

Our Chosen Charity 2026:

This year, Cilcain Show is proud to support Shooting Star Cancer Support in memory of John Wynne Davies, a much loved local farmer and auctioneer, and a valued supporter of the Show for many years.

Wynne was a familiar face in our farming community, remembered for his kindness, hard work and willingness to get involved; including running the show auction for many years. His loss has been deeply felt across the village and we hope this year's support for Shooting Star is a fitting tribute to his memory.

Shooting Star supports the chemotherapy unit at Wrexham Maelor Hospital, helping to fund equipment and services that enhance the care and treatment of local cancer patients.

Wynne and his family benefitted from the care and support provided by the unit during his illness, making this a cause that is especially meaningful for this year's Show.

You will find donation buckets at the show, or can donate via the shooting star website:
https://shootingstarcancersupport.co.uk/

Thank you for helping us support this wonderful charity.
