Everyone thought it was a bit of a bonkers idea when, in 2009, Dave Johns after a few pints in his local, the Shoulder on Mutton, Oakthorpe, suggested that the old furnace at Moira would be a great site for a folk festival, but here we are 16 years on!

And that's a wrap on another fantastic festival. The weather was very kind to us after the rain on Thursday.
Lots of people to thank on behalf of the committee;

Final update on this afternoon's Will Morgan tribute. Contributions from Joe Bayliss, K.C.Jones Duo, Ann and Dave Reader, Bob Bignell, Karen Pfeiffer and Paul Walker, Rob Hill, Dave Standen, The Wigleys, Pete Grassby, Pat Smith and Ned Clamp, Winter Wilson, Anthony John Clarke who has kindly agreed to host the event, PLUS a special MYSTERY GUEST!. Doors open 4.45 for a 5.00pm kick off - PLEASE DON'T ARRIVE BEFORE 4.40 to give us a chance to get set up Also until 5.00pm there will only be one person at the bar so please try to be patient and avoid a crush at the bar.
