🐾 Meet Floss – The Aqua Contractor’s very own boat dog! 🚤🐶

While the team are busy clearing w**ds, Floss occasionally gets to swap her usual routine for a wee holiday on the water! 🌊

She’s not quite a full-time crew member, but she certainly knows how to make the most of her boat trips. Someone has to keep an eye on the team, after all! 😉

Don’t worry, she leaves the hard work to the experts… and focuses on enjoying the ride! 🐾💙

🚤 Small boat. Big difference.

Our specialist Conver boat is designed to work in areas where larger machinery simply can’t reach.

Its manoeuvrability allows us to work around tight corners, narrow waterways, awkward edges and confined areas, making it ideal for tackling aquatic w**d in ponds, lakes and canals.

🌿 Can you identify the w**d in your pond?

Canadian pondw**d, blanket w**d, duckw**d and lilies can all look very different – and each can affect your water in different ways.

Knowing what you’re dealing with is the first step towards managing it.

📸 Not sure what’s growing? Have a look at our pond w**d identification page on our website or send us a picture as we can help!

🌿 TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY 🌿

From w**d-covered water… to open water!

This lake had become heavily affected by aquatic w**d, taking over valuable areas of open water and changing the overall appearance of the lake.

After mechanical w**d clearance, the difference is clear! 👇

💧 More open water
🌿 Better access to the lake
🎣 More usable space for fishing and recreation
✨ A cleaner, tidier appearance
🔧 Easier ongoing maintenance

Removing excessive w**d isn't just about making a lake look better — it can make the water more accessible, more usable and easier to manage.

And as anyone who looks after a lake will know, keeping on top of w**d growth is an ongoing job!

📍 Another lake transformed by The Aqua Contractor.

If your lake is becoming overrun with aquatic w**d, get in touch to discuss how we can help.
