Other than painting pets, I love a challenge of trying something different. I was kindly asked to create a commission of a motorbike. With no brief, I just decided on a monochrome palette, using acrylic paints, and finishing it with pen and pencil. This was a difficult piece to produce, grasping the small details and the perspective, however I am so happy with how it turned out. 🩶

It’s been a while since I created a landscape painting, capturing the picturesque views and sceneries. This one, of Burnsall Bridge, I produced for my mum for Mother’s Day. This place means a lot to her and I wanted to focus on the bridge, with the surroundings of the river and fields. Using a smaller canvas to work on, I wanted to use a gentle palette of colours to portray this beautiful place.This was done with watercolours and pencils. I am very pleased with the outcome, and I’m even happier with how much this means to my mum, something she will cherish forever.🤍

Well it’s been a while since I got a paintbrush out and got creative on a canvas. This year I am wanting to do more pieces, and hopefully do some commissions again, whether that’s pets, landscapes, portraits or abstract!
I created these two pieces on canvases, with acrylic paint, pencil and ink pens.
Back to creating layers with shapes, colours and patterns (my forte) 🎨

Happy New Year! I am so grateful for all the lovely compliments and comments on my commissions from the last couple of years, and I’m even more grateful to produce pieces of artwork of family and friends pets. I have had so much fun with creating these and can’t wait to produce and share more in the years to come! I have grown with so much more confidence, relating to art, work and myself.

At the start of December 2023, I got asked to create two commissions as Christmas presents. Creating two is hard, when it’s two different images, however I really enjoyed the process. Grasping all the details and textures is something I love doing and I’m over the moon with how these turned out of the lovely “Mac”.

This is only a little job I do on the side of my main job but I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me with the commissions, and I’m so grateful to have painted your companions. May the coming year be your best one yet, filled with love and success!!! 🤍✨

July 2021- I created this piece of artwork on a scrap piece of cardboard with acrylic paint and paint pens. I made this randomly from my own ideas and just kept adding sections until I liked how it looked. Mixing colours, shapes and textures is one of my favourite things to do when it comes to art and this piece represents that.

As I had already sold the original piece at the start of 2022, another customer wanted a copy as they liked the print so much. I altered some parts and sharpened them up. Extremely happy with the outcome!.

May 2022- These were my first abstract commissions. As the customer was intrigued in my other abstract paintings, they wanted something similar but incorporated with aboriginal patterns and warm colours. I am extremely happy with the outcome of these two pieces. (Last photo is one of the commissions in situ).

August 2022- A large canvas painting based on the song Everything in its right place by Radiohead. I love music myself so I was more than happy to create a special piece for the customer. I wanted to relate the song and canvas together by using the minor, bpm, lyrics and the overall feeling. I am extremely happy with the outcome, and that I have made an abstract painting have a special meaning.

A range of abstract concepts I created in a sketchbook last year. I used a variety of textures, from pieces of paper, tape and tissue. A mix of acrylic and watercolours blended together to give different effects, and pens to define smaller details.
