Sad news, June Bateman second from right in white trousers, passed away recently, funeral on 27th September at Luotn Crematorium. June was admin assistant for the Bedfordshire Hearing Impaired Service and is known by staff and pupils as cheery and welcoming. We shall miss her.

Had a nice reunion, Nadia, Narain, Uma Nadarajan came to visit us in Tingrith. Tricia, June, Veronica and Sabia came too. Nadia, Narain, Veronica and Sabia (Deaf) used BSL, Uma, Tricia and June (hearing) used spoken English. Nadia was star of visit - such a well known actress in the Deaf community!
