A 30th Birthday, Done Properly — Northamptonshire

There's a particular kind of party that only really works in a field — space to spread out, garden games going, kids and dogs running about, and a marquee big enough to bring everyone back together when the sun starts to dip. That's exactly what we set up for a 30th birthday celebration on a farm in Northamptonshire: a 9m x 9m marquee, dressed simply with red gingham cloths and bunting, fully carpeted and floored, with tables, chairs, speakers and power all sorted before a single guest arrived.

We always start with a site visit — it's the best way to get the sizing and layout right before anything's booked, and it's exactly what we did here.

When another company let down this lovely family at the last minute, we stepped in to ensure Max and Kelly’s special day in Bedfordshire went ahead without a hitch! 💖✨

We transformed their beautiful private garden into a stunning, fully styled venue so they could focus on celebrating with their loved ones.

"How do I know what size marquee I need?" 🎪 It’s one of the most common questions we get asked!
As a general rule of thumb, we recommend allowing approximately 3 foot square per seated guest. But you also need to think about: 🕺 Space for a dance floor 🍹 A dedicated bar area 🎂 Buffet or display tables
Don't worry about the maths—Greg will calculate the perfect size based on your exact guest numbers and layout dreams.

There is something incredibly special about a wedding marquee. At the start of the week, this was an empty space. Once we have finished, it’s a fully lined, and beautifully dressed wedding venue tailored perfectly to our couple's vision.
