Exploring images derived from various folkloric tales, myths and legends. Looking at how we tell the story and how personal mythologies can be woven into our visuals.

💥 One day Workshop alert! 💥

Join me on Friday 12th December from 10-3pm for this introduction to symbolism workshop at the lovely Westbury Arts Centre, MK.

We’ll be using watercolour/inks & drawing techniques to explore age old motifs such as - the snake, the spiral, the tree, the vessel, the eye, dreamscapes mountains & alchemical symbology... to name just a few. 😉

It’ll be a friendly and relaxed space to experiment and play with your own creative intuition.

Join me for a creative deep dive into the role of symbolism in painting at the wonderful Westbury Arts Centre
Friday 12th December from 10am - 3pm.

We’ll be using our intuative creative flow (aided by 2d reference materials) to encompass the beautiful aesthetic and narratives that come with certain symbols in art. Think the sacred spiral, the all seeing eye, the tree of life, the serpent the egg the feather the wing, intrigued? Join me, it’ll be lovely day of playful exploration and experimentation.

Looking forward to the next class in this series of day workshops I’m teaching at Westbury Arts Centre

This month exploring depictions of Flora and Fauna. We will be working from still life flowers and references/imagery provided. Participants will be playing with inks, watercolour, oil pastels and mono-printing techniques.
