Taking over the house! I've had my easel set up for several days in the dining room. Taking inspiration from the things on my welsh dresser and mantlepiece. I'm enjoying not overthinking the arrangement and just painting as things are (with a few tweaks). I'm still not finished!

I'm so excited to be part of this lovely group exhibition coming up soon, I'll be bringing along a selection of my work including:

Tea towels

With Mother's Day just around the corner, it's the perfect chance to pick up something unique.

And even better...the Bull Yard market will be on just outside at the same time, so there will be plenty of gifts and artisan goodies to browse.

I've been working on this project for quite a while now. This is an A3 print, created from original gouache paintings of iconic buildings in Stony Stratford. There is a tea towel in the pipeline too. This print will be available at craft/art markets in Stony Stratford. The dates are 25th Oct (in The C**k), 8th Nov (in the Bull) and 29th Nov (in the C**k). Also on my website soon. Link in bio.

We're a new group, this is only our second week meeting to sketch together. We chose The Point as it's under threat. Many of us have memories of nights out here. It was good to sit in the sunshine today and really look at it.

Painting a historic site in Milton Keynes.
The aqueduct carries the Grand Union canal over the Great Ouse River built in 1811.
I'm out and about in Milton Keynes looking for iconic views for my 2026 calendar.

Landscape Artist of the Year, Clifton Bridge, Bristol, June 2024. Now the programme has been broadcast, I can share the painting that I produced on the day. Everyone was really friendly, and it actually felt like a painting holiday on the day. I'd definitely do it again!
