This might feel like being stuck in a rut, disenchanted and bored with everything that is being offered to you.
Apathy is taking over and nothing feels particularly worth doing right now.
Maybe there has been a lot of fun and excitement over the summer and all that is slowly grinding to a halt.

Life just isn’t a fun celebration every day, there are days that feel like they never end and everything you do is just so damn boring!
The thing is though, there are likely plenty of opportunities to change that, but if you are very wrapped up in complaining you might not notice!

Today things might not be particularly exciting. Maybe there are chores to do, errands to run or routine stuff to sort out, which all needs doing, but none of it is really very interesting.
Well, you will get through it and fun is just around the corner again… don’t miss it while being annoyed with the boring stuff!

Consider this card a gateway through which you travel away from your problems. Whatever you are leaving behind is just not working for you.
If you feel a sense of defeat, don’t… this isn’t a failure in any way.
This is a change in direction, a decision to not just carry on regardless, but to go where you really want to go.

Sometimes that needs an actual change of scenery, like a trip away, sometimes just changing your mindset is what’s needed.
The one thing is that changing direction is simply necessary here. You need to put some distance between yourself and some difficulties you have experienced, it will help!

Watch out for a turning point today and when you realise where you need to go next, don’t look back. This new lane you are switching to has way more potential to lead where you want to be than whatever came before.

The (Autumn) Lovers

The Lovers card is never just about love and passion between people, though this here can talk about a long lasting deep connection being in your life.
But much more than that this card looks at your deeply rooted values, the things your heart is really connected to. The things that stay when everything else falls away.

It can be that you are asked to take a look at the choices you are making right now. Are they actually aligned with your values or have you chosen the path of least resistance.
Have you settled for what you “should” be doing rather than what you really need and want?
Say “yes” to the things your heart craves and maybe one day you can look back and realise it was the most important decision you ever made.

On a slightly more everyday level, sit yourself down and ask yourself what you really want today. Weigh up your options and make sure you are not just “giving in” because that’s why you are supposed to do and say. There might be a conflict here between head and heart.

I know this one only came up very recently, last Monday in fact, but that only means the message needs to be heard.
It is time for something in your life to come to an end. An end that should feel quite natural, a habit you have outgrown, a situation that isn’t doing it any more or even a group of people you don’t fit into any more.

Try to be an active part in this ending, it really isn’t something to be feared, however sad it might be for the moment, it really simply needs to happen for new things to emerge.
Of course there is no shame in grieving what’s gone for now!

In a more card-of-the-day vibe, this tells you that all good things must come to an end at some point. We only treasure the amazing things we have because they do not last forever.
So don’t be sad that something is over today, just be happy that it was there in the first place and look forward to all that emerges from here!

Oh dear, here comes the wrecking ball!
When the tower appears it could get loud, likely very unexpected and a bit destructive.
Something is throwing things upside down and inside out!

I like the image of the wrecking ball in this particular card. I know it’s causing a lot of destruction and upheaval in his picture, but think about it. A wrecking ball gets rid of structures that are no longer needed, unsafe and ready for demolition.
As annoying as it might be, whatever gets thrown out of your life here, was likely something very much ready to go!

Remember that this is a card-of-the-day energy.
It could just be as minimal (yet annoying) as breaking a coffee mug you were still using.
Of course it could also be a bit bigger than that, but whatever disruption is hitting you today, it might be all for the better after you have dealt with the fallout of the immediate crisis.

She is the archetypal nurturer, a truly compassionate soul. Her care extends to every living creature and beyond, from children to animals, social problems and environmental issues. If she believes in the cause she will put everything behind it.

She is also highly intuitive, she can be clairvoyant or psychic and although this Queen’s nature is spiritual and loving, if you crossed her you would know about as she can also be fiercely protective of the people, creatures and causes she cares about.
