Everything's turquoise and teal today at the wedding of the lovely Wendy and Peter. We've deployed our mood lights around the top table to reinforce the theme and keep everyone's attention on the gorgeous couple!

SHHHHHH!! We're hiding in a secret room for today's wedding at Crockwell Barn, Daventry. Jodie & Tom's guests are going to get the surprise of their lives when the curtain goes back and the happy couple waltz onto the dance floor!

PARENTS - Tonight at 5.18pm the International Space Station will be visible as it passes over the UK. If we're lucky enough to have clear skies, look to the South-South-West and it should be visible 14 degrees above the horizon.

KIDS - At 5.18pm tonight, Santa Claus will be doing one final check to make sure all the chimneys are ready for him to deliver presents. If you look REALLY carefully, and it's not cloudy, you might see his sleigh as he flies over!

On Saturday we were in Great Linford for the wedding celebration of the lovely Nicki and Glenn. As you can see, they opted for one of our bespoke gobo designs which looked fantastic as part of a display of photos from their romantic beach wedding. We were especially proud to perform at this event as it was the last ever party at the wonderful Marle Inn, which is due to be demolished in the new year.

Our bespoke gobo design service continues to set new standards in venue personalisation! Last week we were at Holiday Inn Milton Keynes East for the wedding of Abi and Martin. Abi had seen photos of personalised gobos at other weddings but was struggling to find a business to make her one at a reasonable price. We were delighted to help and worked with her to create a design to match the one that had inspired her in the first place. We also supplied uplighting to emphasise her colour theme in the venue. Milton Keynes' Proudest Moments #1 - Red Balloons

Yes, it's cheesy. Yes, it's dated. But don't tell us you don't get a little tingle of nostalgia when you see this classic advert, even if you're too young to remember it the first time around. Some say you're not a TRUE citizen of MK unless you know someone who was in it. Filmed all over the city and with its famous balloon launch climax at the Milton Keynes Bowl, this was many people's first taste of the New City and presented it as an idyllic green parkland setting. Milton Keynes' Proudest Moments #2 - The Imitation Game and The Bletchley Circle

After many years of being overlooked, it's refreshing to see increasing recognition of the role Bletchley Park played in World War Two. A big part of this has been the exposure given by major TV series The Bletchley Circle, and blockbuster movie The Imitation Game, starring Benedict Cumberpatch. Both utilise the original site extensively as a location, and Bletchley Park currently hosts an exhibition featuring costumes, props and sets from The Imitation Game.

Milton Keynes' Proudest Moments #3 - Greg Rutherford's 2012 Long Jump Gold

4th August 2012, or 'Super Saturday'. Britain's most successful day at the Olympics since 1908 and at the centre of it was Milton Keynes' Greg Rutherford taking one of six British gold medals on the day in front of a sell-out crowd in the Olympic Stadium. How amazing to think that it all started for him at Stantonbury Stadium. If you were watching that day unfold, this video is sure to give you goosebumps.
