Small businesses don’t thrive because we compete with each other. They thrive because we champion each other. It’s my birthday today and these businesses all made it a lot more special this year. However check the slides to see what I was told not to do! Do you agree?

Well thats a wrap on Bucks Art Weeks for this year.
Good to see at least couple of people that I know come along and especially Jane and Jo who I used to work with. Its more than just about sharing my art with you, its about spending time with family and friends in a beautiful location, sharing a cup of tea or coffee and cake and having conversation. Its a little oasis of calm in a busy week. On the last day someone said how it would be too busy for them so they hadn’t come... I cannot think of a less busy place to spend time and surrounded by all manner of art and of course the most spectacular garden and good company. Without doubt Stony Stratford’s largest art exhibition and a very special event.
Our raffle has raised over £600 for Willen and the donations for refreshments were incredibly generous. We have yet to learn how much our total has been.

Thank you so much to all that came along it means so much. Our urban sketchers community showed up both to sketch and to view the exhibition, as did U3A and many other local people. Our total visitors? I’ll have to check but close to last year.
