Table plans 🌺 ✨✨

I’ve heard that these are one of the most tedious parts of planning a wedding. Who to seat where, who’s on or close to the head table, being considerate of single friends, there’s a lot to think about! So here are some tips to help get you started:

👉 Start doing it straight away to avoid stress, you can always edit closer to the time!
👉 NEVER create a singles table, that’s just awkward and quite thoughtless on your single friends
👉 Mix it up - allow people to mingle rather than just seating them with just family for example, try to find a balance. A lot of people like to make pals once they’ve had a drink or two 🥂
👉 Why not just assign gets to tables rather than seats so that they can choose where they’d like to sit? *This would only work well if it’s more of a ‘help yourself’ type reception dinner.
👉 And finally - try not to overthink it! I am a massive overthinker so I feel like this task is going to be hell for me. But try to set aside one evening to sit with your fiancé and get it done 💪

I am not engaged (yet) but I am always savings things as inspiration for my big day. I’m probably the biggest procrastinator and most indecisive person ever, but the dress is one thing that I’ve had in my head the kind of thing I want (whether I can find it - that’s a different story) but this is v me 🌾

How beautiful are these dried flower bouquets from .studio_ ?! 🌾

So many flowers are thrown after a wedding and considering some people spend huge amounts on their flower arrangements, it seems so wasteful. So why not try some dried flowers? They last for ages and you can give them as thank you gifts to those who helped with your big day ✨✨

A Mehndi party is the pre-wedding celebration in Hindu and Sikh culture when the bride has the red-orange mehndi "stain" applied to her palms, back of hands, and feet🦶
