Meet Boris! He's a rather lovely older chap I was recently asked to paint and what fun he was too! After a short sitting for reference photos the portrait was a pleasure from beginning to end.

Krumm!
Another addition to the collection for one of my most regular clients, and what fun she was to do!!
I loved the layers of tone, texture and insane detail! I used a bit of gouache to help bring out the fine hair detail over her face and body and I'm really grateful for the opportunity to such an enjoyable piece to add to the family collection

Lux is the first cat I've done for some time. I thoroughly enjoyed painting the texture and pattern of his fur, fortunate that my client was happy to have his full portrait done as it tells the full story of his individual character

I recently donated a bespoke animal name plaque To an auction for Arundawn Dog Rescue and by chance the winning bid was a horse not a dog, Abby the owner provided me with a great reference photo and here is the result.

I'm very pleased to finally be able to post this recent commission now that it's been received as a surprise birthday gift to one of my regular clients. It now goes onto the portrait wall opposite an earlier portrait of two black labs and one yellow, several horses and a border terrier!
I love bringing these individuals together to make the perfect special gift!

I recently had the great pleasure in painting this handsome fella, Rufus is a 4 year old Welsh terrier and the apple of his mum's eye!
The curly coat and the changing colour tones are challenging but that's what makes it so satisfying!

I'm always looking to try something different and really enjoy working with and painting on recycled wood. These name signs are approximately 25cm x 6.5cm and painted in acrylics, and take about 4hrs to complete so for £100 they create an ideal personalised gift or memento of your best four legged friend.
Working from good, clear photos. Lettering can be in a colour of your choice, some curly coated breeds may take longer to paint

I recently heard from Brillo and Rosie's owners and sadly they have had to say goodbye to Brillo, however they say that their portrait fills them with happy memories during this time of sadness. It's wonderful as an artist to be able to create a lasting memory that offers such an emotional legacy and it was so kind of the owners to share that with me

This portrait was a long time happening as we planned a surprise birthday present for the clients wife, I loved the doing detail and capturing the character of Brillo and Rosie and Nicolas won some serious brownie points with his wife!
