Dancing at Magpie Mine, near Sheldon , Derbyshire.
As we’re named after an Anglo-Saxon lead miner, it was particularly fitting to perform at this historic lead mine.
Fabulous location on the most glorious of days.

We’re particularly looking forward to this event at Magpie Mine on Sunday 24th May. A perfect opportunity to dance in honour of our lead miner namesake! 🖤🎶🎩 Peak District Mines Historical Society

This Tuesday, 19th May, we’ll be dancing outside The King’s Head at Bonsall.
We even have a dance named after Bonsall, where the Anglo Saxon stone relief carving of “T’Owd Man” - a lead miner, was originally found.
Affectionately known as the old man, “T’Owd Man” is now housed inside St. Mary’s Church, Wirksworth.
