Thank You 🤗

Yesterday afternoon, Friday 11th in a room packed out full of love, so many family and friends gathered together to celebrate, pay tribute to and say farewell to the most precious and beautiful soul who we all loved, Tony McDonagh ❤️
Even though I still can’t make any sense of why and what Tony went through and the impact his life and subsequent passing has had on so many lives, the outpouring of so much love warms my shattered heart 💔
The friends that travelled the length and breadth of the UK, Fawcett and Hetherington for their complete compassion and professionalism throughout the last 16 days, Brian Nash for conducting Tony’s service and capturing Tony and his life perfectly, Edward Le-Vine for the most touching and emotional straight from the heart eulogy, Alistair Griffin for the beautiful most perfect live music at Tony’s reception, the Manilla Cycling lads who led the cortège from our home and performed a guard of honour upon Tony’s arrival at Kirkleatham Crematorium the ladies from Team Boompods cycling and Wilton Golf Club for the reception, I am hugely thankful and indebted to you all.
Tony would have so loved yesterday ☺️

The biggest thank you however must go to all of my immediate family.
My daughter Michaela Bedford son in law Tom, my adored grandchildren, sister Debbie and all our families because without their help, support, strength and above all love, there is no way I could have gotten through these last 16 days and no more so were they all needed than yesterday 💔
I love and thank you all from the bottom of my broken heart ###

£435 was raised in donations to the Bright Red Charity blood cancer charity in lieu of flowers at Tony’s request. Thank you to each and everyone who so kindly donated. It was so gratefully received by them ❤️

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tony, a cherished ambassador and valued friend of Bright Red.

Tony was a lovely man who showed so much strength and determination. His presence made a lasting impact on everyone he met, and he will be deeply missed.

Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family, friends, and all who were touched by his life ❤

Cancer would never dictate to or determine who Tony McDonagh was. Not in his world. Not ever 💔
