TONIGHT AT TOFT HOUSE

Cherry & Peesh perform punk/folk spoken word songs, electric or acoustic, or fully unplugged. They combine melodic song writing and poetry and Fringe, comedy / political / satire. They play quirky fun places, festivals, buses, shops, living rooms, forests and even a launderette.

Claire Hamill was signed to island records at only 17 years old and released her debut album to critical acclaim, followed by TV appearances and world tours.

Over the years she has worked with artists as diverse as John Martyn, Vangelis, Ray Davies, Jethro Tull, Yes, and Wishbone Ash. Her latest album “A house among the trees” features Mark Abrahams (Wishbone Ash) and David Knopfler (ex-Dire Straits).
She also wrote Eva Cassidy’s huge hit “You take my breath away”.

Her recent work with the Claire Hamill Band has brought fresh energy to her song writing and live shows. And her fabulous voice is as strong as ever.
