This is so much fun and so satisfying to see getting worked up 😊

I'm impressed with myself that I worked out this template on my own too, using angles and measurements

I’ve been doing some preparation for an upcoming event and made the card on the right. It was a little brain bending to figure out 🤯 but I got there in the end! 🙌

And don’t worry if you’ve never tried anything like this before — I’ll guide you through the process. There’ll be different options to choose from, ranging from beginner 🌱 to more advanced ✨.

🧑‍💻 Preparing for a new craft session. What goes into it? I thought I'd document all of the process to show exactly how much time and effort it takes to be ready to teach a new skill...

Step one (done already) lots of research online, looking for ideas, chatting with volunteers and group members about what ideas people might like...

Step two. Pick an idea. Grab all of the materials and pack them up. Follow tutorials and work with volunteers to try out and practice skills. That's what I did tonight with Liz Simpson ☺️

Check out our first attempts at ribbon embroidery and beaded cards. We figured out the designs by eye and now have templates ready for showing people more easily.
