Middlesbrough Mela is one of the biggest most spectacular multi-cultural festivals in the North-East

Middlesbrough Mela is a free multi-cultural festival of regional significance which reflects the aspirations and needs of the communities within Middlesbrough, the wider Tees Valley area and beyond, reaching audiences of 50,000 over the two day festival. Held every year since 1990, Middlesbrough Mela sees the town celebrate its culture and diversity through a wide range of music, entertainment, a

funfair and a popular bazaar packed full of stalls. The Middlesbrough Mela is organised by the Middlesbrough Mela Management Committee in conjunction with Middlesbrough Council. Get ready, it is going to be big, colourful and very definitely lively!

This time last week, Albert Park was ALIVE with Middlesbrough Mela 2026! 🎶🔥💃

The music was pumping, the food was flowing, the performances were in full swing and thousands of you were out enjoying everything the Mela had to offer! 🙌❤️
