This afternoon we had a team of 2 who attempted an escape room today. Team Major Key Players returned to Project Escape to take on The Upside Down while celebrating Alex’s birthday. No strangers to escaping, they had already conquered Sherlock’s Mysterious Manor on a previous visit, so they arrived with confidence, determination, and hopefully a little less fear of what was lurking on the other side.
During the first half of the game, the team flew through puzzles while they also adjusted to the strange world around them. Like any good Stranger Things adventure, they spent time investigating every corner, piecing together clues and figuring out exactly what the Upside Down was throwing at them. Communication stayed strong throughout, and despite a few tricky puzzles standing in their way, they kept pushing forward and making steady progress.
As the second half began, the pace picked up dramatically. Roles had been assigned, both players knew exactly what they needed to do, and their teamwork really came into its own. There were a few moments of frustration as the pressure mounted and the clock ticked down, but excitement quickly replaced it with every new discovery. Before long, they were racing through the final challenges and successfully escaped in an incredible 34 minutes and 44 seconds.
From start to finish, this team showed excellent communication, determination, and teamwork. They never let the tougher puzzles knock their confidence and worked brilliantly together to earn a fantastic escape time. Congratulations once again to Team Major Key Players, and a very happy birthday to Alex. The Upside Down may have tried to keep you trapped, but today you proved that even Vecna wasn’t enough to stop you.
