Nonetheless, always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

Help continue the fight, as we all rise above the clouds of ignorance, narrowness, and selfishness.

Also, remember it is never too late to learn about the world and its people!

For the most part, black females know by the time they are ten years old that the world is not much concerned with the quality of their lives or even their lives at all.

When politicians and salespeople start being kind to black women, seeking them out, offering them largesse, the women accept the soft voices, the simpering statements, the often idle promises, because those are likely to be the only flattering behaviour directed to them that day.

However, behind the women's eyes, there is a wisdom that does not pretend to be unaware; nor does it permit gullibility.

RESPECT IS ALL THEY ASK FOR!

Saying a word can not be merely that important to respecting your brotherhood...or are we not brothers?

The beauty of anti-racism is that you don’t have to pretend to be free of racism to be anti-racist. Anti-racism is the commitment to fight racism wherever you find it, including in yourself. And it’s the only way forward.

Defeating racism, tribalism, intolerance and all forms of discrimination will liberate us all, victim and perpetrator alike.

Let us remember that it is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognise, accept, and celebrate those differences.
