“Faces at the Races” is a collection of photographs (published primarily through Instagram) of just some of the many people whom I meet at the various motorsport events that I visit…
Some of the people I photograph will be old friends and colleagues, some, I will have only met for the first time on the day I took their photograph…
What connects all of these folk, however, is that they are a part of a diverse and very large body of people who’s efforts come together to allow the events to be put on for the enjoyment of the many fans who follow our sport all around the world…
It takes the combined skills and efforts of a great number of people, in many locations (not only at the race tracks, but in workshops, factories, design studios, home offices, etc.), to make these events happen, and the collection of photographs is my way of saying thank you to all of these people and recognising those skills and efforts...
