The Ugly Miss Bugsby!
What a sad ol’bitch. Bugsby was my first time collaborating with the ever wonderful . I was given pretty much free rein to the character to this physical realm which was equal parts amazing and nerve wracking!
The final puppet consisted of a latex skin with foam inside, simple wire armature and individual hand placed hairs.
Bugsby maintains a large pair of beautiful… eyes which along with some eyelash replacements were made removable.
As a fun bit of trivia the tongue and ears of Bugsby are actually scraps from my lips mask that I heavily modified.
