Great British music legends Madness, who have been thrilling audiences for over five decades, are coming to Merthyr Tydfil on Friday the 19th of August; turning Cyfarthfa Castle (or should that be Ska-farthfa Castle), for one memorable summer night.

We’re sad to announce that there will be no Merthyr Rock festival in 2015.

We took on Merthyr Rock as an event in 2013, and last year’s one day event and fringe festival went well, but for a combination of circumstances, we have regrettably decided not to stage the event this year.

We’d like to thank everybody who has supported the event over the last few years; our partners, the bands and of course our audience. Currently there are no plans for any further editions of Merthyr Rock.
